Webster Wins CCME Award for Support of Military Education

Webster University was awarded the Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) 2019 Institutional Award, during the  2020 Professional Development Symposium held in Philadelphia on March 9-12.

Chancellor Beth Stroble was in attendance at the awards luncheon on March 10 to accept the award from CCME President Janice Neal. Neal, who is also the campus director of Webster's Los Angeles Air Force Base location, was named CCME president at last year's symposium.

This award is given to higher education institutions in recognition of their significant contributions to the cause of military education. As well as supply quality educational programs to the armed services. Webster has a rich history in military education with over 40 years partnering and educating service members and their families.

The Council of College and Military Educators (CCME) is an active proponent for the professional development of those serving in the military education community by providing a forum for exchange of information on educational programs, strategies and innovation among its members and associated partners.

The association is composed of military educators and civilian educators with a mission to promote and provide educational programs and services and to facilitate communication between the membership and the Department of Defense educational support network.
