Task Force Update: Mask/Facial Covering Guidance Updates from St. Louis, CDC

On Monday, July 26, 2021, the health departments for the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County jointly implemented a new mask mandate that requires everyone in the St. Louis region to wear a mask in indoor public places regardless of vaccination status. On Tuesday, July 27, the CDC issued a similar change to its national guidelines. As the University has done for the past 18 months, we will follow those mandates to further protect the health of our community.
We appreciate everyone’s diligence in following our health protocols, which enabled us to create a safe and healthy University environment during the pandemic. We will continue to carefully monitor the fluid developments and to act in a timely manner as the situation demands.
