Task Force Message for Mask Guideline Updates

The following message was distributed to Webster University community members on March 25:
To the Webster University Community,
Effective Monday, March 28, the University will make mask wearing optional campus-wide. This update is based on suggested policy by the CDC, local and regional health organizations and the coronavirus data from our community and the region. Our Webster Groves campus, as well as the entire St. Louis area, now have the lowest number of COVID cases since the pandemic began in spring 2020. It is very good news that some area hospitals have announced that they are free of any COVID patients.
The other Webster University U.S. domestic campuses and classrooms are also mask optional with consideration of local regulations.
The Task Force on Transition and Adaptability will notify the community of any future updates.
