April 04, 2022
Webster Vienna now offers a unique range of executive education programs that provide continuing education in cutting-edge topics to executives, corporate leaders and functional managers. Webster Vienna Executive Education programs include Algorithmic Finance, Individual Creativity and Organisational Innovation, Insurance Telematics and Operational Excellence.
The content of the programs is flexible; every course is tailored to the participating individuals and organizations. The aim of the program is to empower individuals to excel and transform their specific environments and to deliver impact at their organizational level. The programs combine the latest scientific knowledge, contemporary applications, methods, and customized content. "Our Executive Education Programs are in cutting-edge subject areas and are unique in Austria," explains Prof. Johannes Pollak, rector of Webster Vienna Private University.
The Algorithmic Finance program offers skills in a pioneering topic: according to the Instructor of the Algorithmic Finance program, Dr Ronald Hochreiter, “participants will learn sophisticated methodological approaches, including machine learning, deep learning and big data, decision optimization and simulation.”
In the Insurance Telematics program participants “will learn about contemporary industry technologies and methods that enable them to reach new customers, build trust, assess needs and avoid risks and claims outside of classic sales channels", added Harald Trautsch, MSc, MBA, Team Leader of the Insurance Telematics program.
The Individual Creativity & Organizational Innovation program covers how to benchmark and develop key creative and innovative drivers in an organization. Antonija Pacek, M.Phil, the Instructor of the course, confirmed participants will learn “to reliably measure individual creativity and organisational innovation climate, and based on findings, accordingly train employees."
The Operational Excellence program will help participants "apply the process improvement methods appropriate and effective in their industry, adding best practices and ‘soft’ skills that address the continuous improvement needs of financial and other service organizations," concludes Alan Noble, MA, Team Leader of the Operational Excellence program.
The programs will launch this spring. They will be offered in different formats, mainly on-site and as hybrid courses. The Executive Education Telematics program course is offered in German, while the rest of the programs are offered in English. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are awarded the Webster Vienna Executive Education Program Certificate. Depending on the program, costs range from 800 to 4,000 Euros. Participants of the Insurance Telematics and Algorithmic Finance programs can apply for the Digi-Winner Scholarships offered by The Vienna Chamber of Labour (AK) in cooperation with waff to promote continuing vocational education and training in the field of digitisation. The Digi-Winner Scholarship can cover up to 80% of the program costs. In addition, large discounts are available for multiple participants from the same organization.
