President Julian Z. Schuster was quoted in the St. Louis Business Journal about efforts to improve the workforce in the St. Louis region.
Tim Keane Named Chancellor
Every television station, news radio station and “general news” paper in the St. Louis region ran stories about the announcement that Tim Keane has been appointed the next chancellor of Webster University, with a few of the stories going national. Here are some examples:
Bill Hall on Secession, Trump's Proposed Policies and Presidential Debates
Adjunct Political Science Professor Bill Hall was quoted in Newsweek Magazine about growing movements in many states or regions to secede from the United States. Newsweek also quoted Hall on Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s recent policy statement that he wishes to slash funding to education if he is re-elected to the presidency.
Hall also was quoted by the Middle East news site Al Sharq about the recent debate between President Biden and Former President Trump.
Smith on Fake News Stories and Conspiracy Theories
School of Communications Instructor Julie Smith was interviewed by KSDK about a fake news story that was run – and then retracted – by news sites recently.
Smith also was interviewed live on KMOX about the multiple conspiracy theories that showed up online shortly after the shooting at a Trump rally.
Shostak Discusses the Baldwin Trial
Adjunct Legal Studies Professor Grant Shostak was interviewed live on Live Now With Fox about the Alec Baldwin trail for involuntary manslaughter.
Jenifer Lewis Gets a St. Louis Star
