DADAH Receives RAC Grant for Upcoming Friday Noon Lecture Series
September 02, 2025
Webster’s Department of Art, Design, and Art History (DADAH) received a Program Support Grant from the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis (RAC) for the upcoming Friday Noon Lecture Series. The $10,000 grant will pay for speaker fees, supplies for workshops offered by the speakers, and promotion of the lectures.
The lecture series brings nationally recognized artists and curators to campus to discuss their art and research, and to host hands-on workshops. The lectures are recorded and placed on YouTube for later viewing.
“This is an invaluable opportunity for our students and the community to learn about art first-hand from leading professionals in the field,” said Visiting Assistant Professor of Ceramics Lindsay Pichaske, who organizes the Lecture Series. “We are grateful to the RAC for awarding us the grant and making this possible for our students and the St. Louis arts community. I also would like to thank Sabra Li, Noriko Yuasa and Lindsay Pichaske for their work on the grant application, with special thanks to Robin Assner-Alvey, Eric Goedereis, and Alex Pierce for their assistance in the application.”
