Originally from Spain, alumnus Lobsang Dundup earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at Webster Thailand’s Hua Hin/Cha Am campus. Since completing his degree, Lobsang has been accepted into MSt in International Relations graduate program at the University of Cambridge.

When discussing his time at Webster Thailand, Lobsang fondly remembers the profound impact that his teaching staff had on his studies.

"IR professors were very qualified and demanded quality work, which subsequently reflected upon the quality of my learning," said Dundup. "What I enjoyed the most about Webster University Thailand was the level of rigor of the IR program and the opportunities this granted me subsequently."

He also recalls the vibrant discussions that would occur in classes between students and professors.

“The general diversity of the student body allowed for exchanges of distinctively diverse opinions,” said Dundup. It was this learning environment that “resulted in the optimum preparation for my graduate studies."

For students considering studying at Webster Thailand, Dundup stresses the importance of being independent and passionate about a subject matter. He suggests that by studying a major that engages one personally and professionally, university life will be a breeze, and it will also help when it comes to applying knowledge beyond the classroom, leading to any number of potential opportunities for growth.

Along with studying at Cambridge, Dundup is currently a deputy editor at Khaosod English. His main tasks include editing articles, writing stories, researching potential angles and conducting fieldwork.
