Four Webster Students Win Press Club Scholarships

Four Webster University School of Communications students were among the 15 winners of St. Louis Press Club Scholarships at a special awards luncheon at the Press Club on June 12.

Three undergraduate students and one graduate student each received a $1,000 scholarship applicable to the 2018-2019 academic year.

Rea Bedalli of Kirkwood, Missouri, won the Joe Bonwich Journalism Scholarship for $1,000. Bedalli is a junior with a double major in in advertising and marketing communications and psychology.

Danielle Pauly of St. Louis won the Press Club Media Internship Scholarship for $1,000. Pauly is majoring in public relations.

Jeffrey Salas of Belleville, Illinois, won the West End Word/Webster University Scholarship for $1,000 for the 2018-2019 academic year. Salas is earning a master’s degree in advertising and marketing communications.

Alex Zivic of St. Louis won the Webster-Kirkwood Times/Webster University Scholarship for $1,000 for the 2018-2019 academic year. Zivic majors in public relations with a minor in professional writing.
