The Career Planning and Development Center Host Career Fair Oct. 8

The Career Planning and Development Center will host the annual Career Fair, Tuesday, Oct. 8, 1-4 p.m., in the University Center Gym on the main campus.

This event is open to all current students and recent alumni.  Meet recruiters face-to-face! There will be many employers ready to share information and discuss full-time, part-time, internship and volunteer opportunities. Whether you are a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior or alumni, the Career Fair is an excellent opportunity to gather career-related information.

This year, Career Planning and Development is very excited to bring over 100 recruiters, some of whom are Webster University alumni, representing over 60 companies and organizations to campus: bioMerieux, Bank of America, Peace Corps, Edward Jones, St. Louis Zoo, The Nine Network – Channel 9,  Youth In Need, American Red Cross, Enterprise, St. Louis Public Schools and SSM Healthcare are just a few of the organizations that will be on campus.

The Career Planning & Development Center asks faculty and staff to encourage all students and alumni to take advantage of this valuable career development opportunity.

“The employers are coming, now we have to get the students and alumni to participate! Our students and alumni will help make this event a complete success," said Trezette Dixon, assistant director, Employer Relations, Career Planning and Development Center.

"It’s not just for seniors. National and International employers are coming to campus, eager to meet the qualified, diverse and globally educated students and alumni of Webster University," said Dixon. "In a technology-driven job market, students get a rare opportunity to meet face to face with recruiters from a variety of industries.”
