Webster University students representing various majors in the George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology participated in the 2019 Regional Business Council Mentor Network Spring Culminating Reception, held April 9 at The Boeing Company in St. Louis.

During a panel discussion moderated by Joe Blomker, president and chief executive officer of Maryville Consulting Group, business executives from local organizations shared stories about their college and career experiences and offered career advice to the many college students present.

Panelists included William Ayers, president and chief executive officer, Mississippi Lime Co.; Wendy Henry, managing partner, BKD; Frank LaQuinta, principal and chief information officer, Edward Jones; Kevin J. McCormack, vice chairman, McCormack Baron Salazar, Inc.; and Quimeka N. Saunders, F-15 flight simulation-software engineer, The Boeing Company.

Leadership development and talent retention is a key issue and priority area for the Regional Business Council (RBC), and the Mentor Network (TMN) plays a leading role. The Mentor Network pairs executives from member companies with up and coming students and grows future leaders for the St. Louis region.
