Stream Conservatory's Remote Performance 'Deadly' Dec. 11-23

Deadly

The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University presents its final performance of the semester, Deadly, available for streaming from Dec. 11-23.

A chorus of women sing "Let this be day one, may it mark the dawning of the end of complacency and silence, of this madness and this violence, and we'll be heard and seen, and we'll be found!" Set against the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, this true crime musical brings Conservatory alumna Vanessa Claire Stewart back home. The Conservatory is delighted to present the newest version of Deadly and give the musical its college premiere.

Deadly has been produced entirely as a digital experiment. All of the artists have participated from their individual homes, allowing for remote participation. With a director in New York, writers in Los Angeles, a stage manager in Ohio, and cast and creative team strewn across the country, Deadly showcases how creativity triumphs over crisis.
