Spring 2016 Faculty Review Notices

Unless otherwise noted, for each review Webster University faculty, staff and students are invited to submit written and signed testimony relevant to the following criteria:

  • Classroom teaching
  • University contributions
  • Professional activities/contributions
  • Student advising
  • Department contributions/service

The departments for the following faculty members have posted notice of faculty reviews during Fall 2020. Please see the text after each faculty member name for instructions and deadlines for submitting testimony.

Note: This post is updated with new names throughout the term as notice of new reviews are received. You can find a department or faculty member’s name quickly by doing a CTRL-F search for their name.

Department of Art, Design, and Art History

  • Jeri Au: The Department of Art, Design, and Art History is soliciting testimony for Jeri Au as part of FDL review.   • Paul DeMarinis: The Department of Music seeks testimony for Paul DeMarinis, regular five-year FDL review.   • Jacob Lassetter: The Department of Music seeks testimony for Jacob Lassetter, promotion to professor.   • Joseph Stimpfl: The Department of History, Politics, International Relations, and Religious Studies (HPIRRS) is conducting a review of Joseph Stimpfl for Continuing FDL status. Testimony about Stimpfl's teaching, service and/or professional development should be sent to Keith Welsh, Department of HPIRRS, 470 E. Lockwood Ave., St. Louis, MO 63119-3194. Signed PDF files may be sent to welshke@webster.edu. To be considered by the review committee, comments must be written and signed. Comments may be submitted by email to marcela@webster.edu with a hard copy submission mailed. The deadline for submission is Friday, Dec. 11, 2020.

  • Michael Hulsizer: The Department of Psychology is soliciting testimony for Michael Hulsizer as part of the Departmental Chairperson review. The Department of Management

  • Barrett Baebler: The Department of Management is conducting an FDL status review for Barrett Baebler, associate professor of Management. All members of the University community are invited to submit written comments regarding contributions and performance of any of the faculty being reviewed. The criteria for evaluation are: Teaching and student advising; Professional development appropriate to the individual's discipline; Service to the University, academic and professional communities; Contributions to the Department of Management. Of these the most heavily weighted is teaching. Letters should be addressed to: Al Marcella, professor, Department of Management, East Academic Building room 380, 470 E. Lockwood Ave., St. Louis, MO 63119-3194. To be considered by the review committee, comments must be written and signed. Comments may be submitted by email to marcela@webster.edu with a hard copy submission mailed. The deadline for submission is Nov. 20, 2020.

Graduate Department of Education

  • Deborah (Debbie) Stiles: The Graduate Department of Education is soliciting testimony for Deborah (Debbie) Stiles as part of FDL review. Please submit written, signed comments regarding: teaching, advising, professional development, and service and address the letters to Ginny (Virginia) Altrogge, Graduate Department of Education, 470 E. Lockwood Ave., St. Louis, MO 63119 by Friday, Sept. 25, 2020. Please send scanned copies of signed letters to Ginny Altrogge at valtrogge75@webster.edu.
  • DJ Kaiser: The Graduate Department of Education is soliciting written testimony pertaining to DJ Kaiser’s request for promotion to Full Professor. Please submit signed and scanned reference letters regarding Kaiser's classroom instruction, student advising, scholarship, and contributions to university and professional communities. Letters should be sent electronically to our designated email address: kaiserfull2020@webster.edu on or before Sept. 30, 2020.
