Alumni mentoring programThe Webster University Mentoring Program has been redesigned to make it easier to foster relationships between current students and alumni.

In the past, students would be personally matched with an alum to mentor them. Now, to enable current students to quickly connect with a mentor, they can view a new database of available mentors and reach out to them.

Current students can search the database of alumni volunteer mentors by industry, class year, school/college or city.

Mentors serve as role models and leaders as they help students reach their career goals. Now, more than ever, students need mentors to guide them in their professional endeavors.

In addition to launching the new Mentoring Program, the Webster University Alumni Association has partnered with the African American Alumni Chapter (AAAC) to create The Connect, a program to help connect current Black and other students of color with AAAC Alumni mentors. Interested students will be able to search through the same mentoring database to participate in The Connect.

Mentoring has proven to be the kind of positive relationship current students seek from alumni.
