School of Communications Faculty Selected in Filmmakers Showcase

Films by Webster University School of Communications faculty members Brian Jun, Zlatko Cosic, and David (Davey) Rocco were selected for this year's Cinema St. Louis St. Louis Filmmaker’s Showcase, held July 16.
In the juried award competition, Cosic's "Story 1: Scenes 1-9" was selected as "Best Experimental Film." See the full results here.
At the show case, "Mike Sidwell, Strongman,” by Jun screened in the Documentary Shorts category. “That’s What You Get for Grabbing,” and “Story 1: Scenes 1-9,” by Cosic, and “Even the Birds Know It,” by Zlatko Cosic and Rachel Cosic, as well as “Summer Louis,” by Davey Rocco all screened in the Experimental Shorts category.
Cosic's "That's What You Get for Grabbing" will also screen at .ZACK on Sept. 25 as part of the kickoff for the St. Louis International Film Festival.
Rocco's “Summer Louis,” had previously received the first-place award in Cinema St. Louis' Cinema at Citygarden, a biennial program organized by Cinema St. Louis and funded by the Gateway Foundation. As a result it was projected on the wall at Citygarden throughout June.
Rocco is an assistant professor of film, television, and video production in the School of Communications at Webster University. Cosic and Jun also teach film, television, and video production.
