Advertising and Marketing Communications Students Win Two Gold Awards
March 08, 2022
Advertising and Marketing Communications students in the School of Communications
have won two top awards for their fully integrated campaign, “Not a Date,” in the
American Advertising Federation (AAF) Student Competition. The 2021 competition focused
on Tinder, the online dating and social networking app.
The “Not a Date” campaign was entered in the student competition for the annual St.
Louis chapter of the American Advertising Federation Awards program, winning the Gold
Award--Cross Platform Integrated Brand Identity Campaign and Gold Award--Cross Platform
Consumer Campaign.
The Webster students' entry will go on to compete in the AAF District Student Awards against other student entries from Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas. If the “Not a Date” campaign wins at the district level, then it will compete at the national level, against all other student submissions.
